New Maxi Rider AHR 2011!
With the introduction of the revised Australian & New Zealand Child Restraint Standard, the Maxi Rider has had some modifications and the new method of determining suitability is by height. There is no longer a weight capacity guideline.

AHR Technology-
The revolutionary design results in greater absorption and better distribution of energy during a crash, dramatically reducing the likelihood of serious injury
Higher backrest of any booster seat or toddler seat to allow larger children to stay in the seat longer
Converts from a forward facing to a booster seat
Deep wings for side impact protection fitted with EPS liner for added head protection for the child
Additional cushioning and padding all over
Two cup holders which suits cups, drink cans and fruit boxes - cup holders can be rotated in to a stored position when not in use
Arm rest that allows the child to sit in comfort includes soft touch coverings. Pivoting arm rest that can be raised to allow the occupant to get out of the seat from the side
Push button harness adjuster for ease of adjusting the harness
Anti-submarine clip to improve the childs saftey when the seat is used as a booster
Stereo Speakers hidden in the AHR head rests for audio pleasure. Compatible with MP3 players, and even has a pocket for storing the device.
Shoulder Height Markers:
* Lower Shoulder Height Marker - Using the in-built harness, the child’s shoulders must be in-line with this marker
or above this marker. If the child’s shoulders are below then the child should
remain in their previous child restraint. Approximately 6 months.
* Middle Shoulder Height Marker - When the child’s shoulders reach this marker, convert the child restraint to
booster seat mode and use either a lap-sash seat belt or a child harness and
lap-sash seat belt or lap only seat belt. Approximately 4 years.
* Upper Shoulder Height Marker - When the child’s shoulders reach this upper marker, or the child no longer
fits in the child restraint, approximately 6 to 8 years of age, then the child
must be moved to the next form of child restraint.
